RayMar Framing on Stone

Unique method of framing & hand painting art on flagstone

Welcome to our Website!

It is our pleasure to share with you our One of A Kind, Unique

Hand Crafted art on flagstone.  We are 1 of 3 in the country

who offers this method of framing prints & photographs on

flagstone.  This process was developed by Linda Krafft  of

Potter County, Pennsylvania several years ago.  You can view

her website by connecting to our link, developer's website.

The flagstone we use is a natural product, quarried in

Potter County, Pennsylvania.  Flagstone is commonly used for

sidewalks & patios.   We special order the stone 1/2" thick by

the pallet for it's ease of handeling.

A large part of the hand crafting

is matching a print to a

stone texture to give it a

diamensional quality.

The print takes on a new life from the stone texture.  As illustrated

by the following print the clouds and land just seem to

jump out with life and diamension.

Autumn Roost by Ray Hendershot

Each stone is handcut with

a hammer & chisel.

Corner's are knocked off

to give each framed

print it's Uniqueness.

It will always be a

One of a Kind

framed piece of Art.

The print is then applied to the flagstone with a

chemical catalyst.  It is framed on the stone forever.

The edges are hand painted to continue the color

and lines.  This  gives it a finished professional presentation.

A clear coat of poylurathane is applied to seal the print

and hand painting.

We also offer easels and wallmount kits to display your

one of a kind piece of art.
